With a lot of help from other researchers, particularly in Australia, we have gathered the following information; we have now identified no less than twelve BLUNDELL convicts! We are only able to prove a connection to one of these; if you should be connected to any of those shown, we would be delighted to hear from you!
1. Frances BLUNDELL arrived 1828 on "Mermaid", trial 1828 (Middlesex) - 7 years

6. Joseph BLUNDELL (1) arrived 10 April 1817 on "Morley", trial Middx aged 18yrs - life / age 36 in 1837; district Windsor; T of L* ;Died - 2 April 1852 Sackville, NSW (Buried St Thomas); Married - 4 February 1834 St Thomas, Sackville to Jane Elkins (Born Colony) ~

7. Joseph BLUNDELL (2) arrived Port Jackson 13th September 1826 on "Marquis of Huntly" - tried Maidstone, Kent on 2nd January 1826 for assault, sentenced to death, commuted to transportation for life; granted Certificate of Freedom in 1834 and Certificate of Pardon in 1842.
